Bill Ford's Statement on the Passing of Ed Lundy
DEARBORN, Mich., Oct. 3, 2007 – Bill Ford, executive chairman, Ford Motor Company made the following statement on the passing of Ed Lundy:
“Ed Lundy was a true pioneer in business and is a celebrated figure in Ford Motor Company history. Hired by the company in 1946 as one of ‘The Whiz Kids,’ he was a consummate professional, role model and leader. During his 33 years of service, Ed Lundy re-wrote the rules of finance in the auto industry. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.”
