Fiat Automobiles Is Main Sponsor of Italian National Team and Italian Serie A 2007 Beach Soccer Championship

June 11, 2007 - Fiat Automobiles is becoming increasingly involved in Beach Soccer. The brand has renewed its agreement with the Italian Football Association – National Amateur League, and will be one of the main sponsors of the Italian Beach Soccer Championship and of the Italian national team for 2007.

The Fiat Sedici will become the official car of the Italian Championship to be held in major Summer resorts up and down the country, and of the Italian National Team competing in European and world class events.

The Fiat Sedici will accompany the entire Championship, which numbers 9 stages, starting on June 15 from Termoli, and concluding with the final play-offs in Terracina in the middle of August.

The San Benedetto del Tronto event is particularly important as it will host the Italian stage of the Euroleague, the prestigious European championships in which the “Azzurri” will play against the strongest European teams.

This is yet another interesting, innovative sponsorship by Fiat, in support of a strongly emerging Summer sport like Beach Soccer, which offers plenty of spectacle, entertainment, team spirit and loyalty.
