Daihatsu Provides Aid for Earthquake Relief Efforts in Sichuan Province, China

May 20, 2008 -- Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. wishes to express its deepest condolences for those who lost their lives in the earthquake that struck Sichuan Province in China and its concerns for everyone in the devastated area.
Daihatsu Motor decided on May 19 to contribute 300,000 yuan (approx. 4.5 million yen) in aid, via the Japanese Red Cross Society, to assist earthquake relief efforts.
