February 5, 2008 -- As of mid-January 2008, the plant in Mioveni has been operating at a pace of 61.3 vehicles/ hour, a record production pace in the plant’s history. Every 52 seconds, a vehicle actually comes off Dacia’s assembly lines, reaching an overall production of 1,300 vehicles, with 690 Logan sedan, 560 Logan MCV and 50 Logan VAN.

To reach the current production capacity, Dacia has hired around 900 people only for the Assembly Plant.

In 2007, the plant in Mioveni manufactured 222,914 vehicles. The current step-up in production will allow Dacia to reach an overall production over 310, 000 vehicles.

The current product range, boasting Logan sedan, Logan MCV and Logan VAN, will be completed by two new models to be assembled at the plant this year: Logan Pick-Up, revealed at the Bucharest Motor Show, as well as a hatchback model derived from the Renault Sandero.
