Venturi Presents the Electric Citroën Berlingo developped for La Poste

March 2008 -- Venturi Automobiles presents at the EVER Show (Electric Vehicles and Renewable Energies show) for the first time the electric Citroën Berlingo specifically developed for the EV tender of La Poste.

The vehicle is equipped with a latest-generation electric powertrain. Thanks to this extremely compact technology, all the components such as motor, battery, and management system can fit in the room left by the thermic engine in the front compartment of the car.

This offers the major advantage of insuring the same load volume and playload as in a conventional version. The vehicle keeps also its whole integrity (road holding, braking, weight balance).

Venturi Automobiles, in partnarship with PSA Peugeot Citroën, has been pre-selected for the international tender of La Poste for the supply of 500 electric vehicles.

This vehicle will be exhibited on the Venturi booth on the first day of the show the 27th March. Then it will be available for test at the "Ride & Drive" on the 28th, the 29th and the 30th.

The Venturi Fétish, Eclectic and Astrolab, which have made the reputation of Venturi, will also be exhibited on the booth.
