Add 9 Horsepower to 2007 Chevy Canyon, 2007 Chevy Colorado with K&N Air Intake System

October 2007 -- The 2007 Chevrolet Colorado shares its basic design with the GMC Canyon. Both are midsize pickups which offer improved comfort and a smooth ride. The Colorado is also a utilitarian regular cab work truck.

K&N Engineering has designed a high flow air intake system (63-3064) for the 2007 GMC Canyon 2.9 liter engine and the 2007 Chevrolet Colorado 2.9 liter engine.

K&N dynamometer tests show a 9.06 horsepower gain at 4862 rpm. To add performance K&N replaces the original air box, air filter and intake tube with an all new air intake system. The aerodynamically engineered non-metallic rotationally molded tube is designed to provide lower air temperature.
