Compared to 2006, the Export Volume of Chery in 2007 Has Doubled
Jan. 15, 2007 -- Chery achieved a total sales volume of 381,000 units in 2007 with an annual objective accomplishment ratio of 97%, about 12,000 units less than the annual sales objective formulated at the beginning of 2007, very close to the goal. Compared to 2006, there is a net increase of 76,000 units while the increase rate is 24.8%, among which, the overseas sales volume has doubled again with a sharp increase of 132%.
The biggest highlight of the increase comes from the overseas market. In 2007, Chery achieved a total export volume of 119,800 units, accomplishing an increase of 68,000 units over the total annual export of 51,600 units in 2006. As a result, the annual export volume of Chery has doubled for 3 consecutive years, and Chery ranks 1st in passenger car export for 5 consecutive years in China.
Among the four quarters of 2007, Chery achieved a sales volume of 103,000 units in the first, accounting for 27.1% of the annual sales; 104,000 units in the second quarter, accounting for 27.3% of the annual sales; 93,000 units in the relatively slack period, the third quarter, accounting for 24.5% of the annual sales; and 81,000 units in the fourth quarter, accounting for 21.2% of the annual sales.
