First Chinese Super Bulletproof Chery Tiggo3 SUV Launched in China

November 2, 2007 -- Dressing cars with bulletproof vest, and mine-proof shoes…these are no longer sci-fi. Days ago, Chery presented itself at the 2007 International Criminal Investigation, Drug Suppression and Anti-terrorism Equipment Expo & Technical Exchange Fair with two models, the Chery Tiggo3 and the Eastar bulletproof cars. The most impressive thing is that after its bulletproof tire is shot, the Tiggo3 can still keep running at 80km/h for 45minutes. After numerous tests, it can be easily perceived that besides the high standard features, the super bulletproof Tiggo3 also benefits from Chery’s strict checks on the doors, rear windscreen, sidewall steel plates, tires, and even the tiny joints of the body.

Besides these protections, the strong and advantageous cross-country performance of the Tiggo3 is another highlight---its angles of approach and departure reach 28°and 29° respectively, while its minimum ground clearance is 190mm. All these provides a strong backup for its passing a 45° slope with ease. In the meantime, the super bulletproof Tiggo3 places emphasis on comfortable and safe driving concept and its interior space can be adjusted freely---its front seats are 4-way or 6-way adjustable, and when laid down, they form a simple single bed with the back seats. Regarding space allocation, the bulletproof Chery Tiggo3 satisfies different requirements of the driver or passengers under different circumstances.
