I am from Cyprus, and I decided to buy a car. Even if my friends told me not to buy a FORD, because I am going to buy problems with it, I didn't believ it. SO i went for it..Now you cannot imagine the problems I have with the car and especially for maintenance - it's hell!
One example: here they are selling the car with BRIDGESTONE tyres, but if you happen to have a problem with one of your tyres, you're in deep trouble! Because you have to change ALL THE TYRES, or at least 2. Why? Simply: because they do not import this kind of tyres in Cyprus. WELL - this is the official reason. The actual reason is that the representatives of FORD in Cyprus they also have the representation for DUNLOPE, so if you go to them to have your tyre changed, they will force you to buy 2 tyres from Dunlope, because they say they haven't got in stock tyres branded BRIDGESTONE for your car...and they are not interested in buying them, because - hey - they havce to sell DUNLOPE's, haven't they?
So this seems to be like a good partnership to steal your money - FORD + DUNLOPE. If you have encountered similar problems, please feel free to write me. If you haven't got a FORD yet - DON'T BUY.
