Deadlines Near for HDAW Early Registration Fee Discounts, Hotel Specials
December 13, 2007, ORLAND PARK, Ill. – The deadline for the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) special Mirage Hotel rates and the early registration fee discount deadline are nearing. The All-Industry HDAW ’08, Monday, Jan. 21 through Thursday, Jan. 24, at The Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, will be North America’s largest gathering of senior heavy duty distributor and supplier executives.
Industry members who have not already registered should do so today, to save $200 with the early registration discount, and reserve their hotel room to get the HDAW special Mirage Hotel rate by Wednesday, Dec. 19. After Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, the conference registration fee for members of sponsor groups will increase from $400 to $600; and for nonmembers, from $600 to $800. Room rates increase significantly.
To date, some 320 executives from more than 140 distributor companies have registered for HDAW 2008, and nearly 190 leading HD exhibiting suppliers will be in the 100,000 sq ft. HDAW Product Expo. Total registrations are over 1,120 and are growing daily. Rosters of registered distributor and supplier companies and complete conference information are available at www.hdaw.org.
Pointing to the exceptional HDAW ‘08 conference program, Jerry Weis, 2007 HDAW chairman and president of Ott’s Friction said, “Consider the historic One-on-One meetings program with suppliers joining distributors for a record-setting number of pre-arranged meetings. Plus, a conference agenda packed with distributor focused educational sessions, an industry awards luncheon, a 400-booth products expo and unlimited networking opportunities. Add in the exciting programs offered by sponsor groups outside conference hours and you can see why HDAW is a must-attend event.”
Conference registration and hotel reservations may be made online at www.hdaw.org. The HDAW deferred payment option lets distributors register with a credit card and defer payment until Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008.
HDAW is presented by a joint operating committee comprised of industry leaders from American Council of Frame and Alignment Specialists (ACOFAS), Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN), Heavy Duty America (HDA), Heavy Duty Distribution Association (HDDA), Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group (HDRG), International Truck Parts Association (ITPA), Overseas Automotive Council (OAC), Power Heavy Duty, Service Specialists Association (SSA), Truck Pride and VIPAR HD Parts.
