AISIN Group to Hold Joint Exhibition at 40th Tokyo Motor Show 2007

October 16, 2007 -- Six AISIN Group Companies, including the parent company, Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd. (President: Yasuhito Yamauchi; Headquarters: Kariya, Aichi) as well as Aisin Takaoka Co., Ltd., Aisin Chemical Co., Ltd., Aisin AW Co., Ltd., Aisin AI Co., Ltd. and ADVICS Co., Ltd., will jointly exhibit their products at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show 2007 to be held at Makuhari Messe (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture) from October 26 (Friday) to November 11 (Sunday).

2. Exhibit Overview
The AISIN Group will exhibit a demonstration car in which the integrated components, systems and core products are clearly on display providing a chance to view the location of the components and the functional effects of its systems. At this year’s Tokyo Motor Show more than 50 of the AISIN Group companies’ latest products will also be featured.

Emphasizing the AISIN Group’s commitment to traffic safety, a pantomime will depict Driver Monitoring System, Attention Rousing System for Approaching Vehicles, and Navigation System-Coordinated AFS Control, to provide visitors with a entertaining introduction to AISIN’s safety products. The pantomime will be performed twice in an hour.

4. Principal Products to Be Exhibited
• In its core drivetrain related products business, the AISIN Group will introduce the world’s first RWD 8-speed Automatic Transmission (TL-80SN) installed in the Lexus LS460 and Transfer Case for RWD (TN2) installed in TOYOTA’s Landcruiser. This year’s Tokyo Motor Show will also feature the latest hybrid vehicle products, such as 4WD Hybrid Transmission (HR-10F) equipped in the Lexus LS600h, in addition to products that contribute to increased performance while improving fuel consumption efficiency such as Electric Oil Pump for Cooling Motor and　Electric Water Pump for Cooling Inverter.
• The AISIN Group’s brake & chassis related products will display the world’s first Electric Active Stabilizer System, developed jointly with Toyota Motor Corporation, which contributes to smooth driving.
• In engine related products, AISIN will exhibit products which will help enhance fuel consumption including 3 Stage Variable Discharge Oil Pump and Variable Intake Manifold with an Integrated Rotary Valve installed in the Toyota Noah and Toyota Voxy.
• Information related products such as Intelligent Parking Assist, which utilizes advanced image-processing technologies, will be on view as well as products that increase driver convenience such as the latest car navigation systems.
