Delphi Launches New Shock Absorbers Catalogue
Catalog Features New, Customer Driven Enhancements to Help Simplify Daily Use
October 15, 2007, FRANKFURT, GERMANY -- Following the addition of more than 110 new parts to its comprehensive range of aftermarket shock absorbers during 2007, Delphi has launched a new catalogue for 2007/8 giving customers full details of the latest range. Over the last two years Delphi has added more than 400 part numbers making it one of the most widest and up to date ranges available in the European aftermarket. Delphi's latest catalogue contains details of more than 1,720 part numbers covering over 96 percent of the European car parc.
Manufactured in Delphi plants across the world and accredited by major vehicle manufacturers, Delphi aftermarket shock absorbers are manufactured to the same demanding standards as the products destined for its original equipment customers. New vehicle applications covered by the recent range additions include the Audi A6, Fiat Idea, new Fiat Panda, Honda Jazz, Hyundai Getz, MG Rover ZR/ZT/ZS, Nissan Micra, Seat Ibiza IV, Volkswagen Polo and Volkswagen Touran.
Following customer feedback into the design of the catalogue, the latest version boasts a number of new features designed to make it easier for customers to identify the correct part more quickly. Text which describes application details within the main vehicle section of the catalogue has been replaced by icons designed to make it easier to read in all languages. Vehicle applications are also easier to locate with a re-designed alphabetical index showing the manufacturer's name on the bleed tabs which have been added to all pages. The catalogue also features a double page gatefold at the end with translations in seven languages making it more user friendly for all of Delphi's customers located across Europe.
