New DVD Player CarCine DVD 210 & TFT Display CarCine TFT 720
Release date: October 15, 2007, NUREMBERG, GERMANY -- Delphi has added two new Delphi Grundig products to its range of in-car multimedia devices which provide users with high-quality display and first-class playback. The Delphi Grundig CarCine TFT 720 is a flat screen display unit which can be connected to Delphi Grundig's new CarCine DVD 210 to provide a fully integrated multimedia experience for users.
The discreet black CarCine TFT 720 features an impressive 7" TFT display in 16:9 format. Its picture, colour quality and flat design have been developed specifically for installation in the center console or the headrest. The CarCine TFT 720 provides users with many connectivity choices. It has an AV-IN socket for adding a games console or digital camera, a standard connection for hard-wired headphones and a two-channel infrared connection for wireless transmission of audio signals to the Delphi Grundig HP 100 (1 channel), HP 150 (1 channel) and HP 200 (2 channels) infrared headphones which are available separately. Additionally, all of the main control functions can be accessed either directly on the monitor or through the remote control supplied with the unit.
Pure entertainment pleasure with the new multi-format DVD player CarCine DVD 210
The new Delphi Grundig CarCine DVD 210 is a standalone DVD player that delivers diverse playback options with easy and intuitive operation. In addition to DVDs in regional code 2 (PAL/NTSC), the unit can play music files in WMA or MP3 format and films in MPEG4 format. The CarCine DVD 210 features a USB port for playing films and music via a USB cable. This method of connectivity makes it compatible with most of the mass storage media on the market such as memory sticks and external hard drives and also offers the option of connection to portable MP3 players, for example an iPod®.
The CarCine DVD 210 with its standard 1 DIN size can be installed in many positions within the car. The DVD player can be operated either on the device itself or via the remote control supplied. Playback sources are conveniently selected via the remote control. An AV-IN cinch connector is provided on the back for connection of external devices such as a TV tuner. A further AV-IN jack on the front and rear of the unit enables the connection of a games console or digital camera. Further displays can be operated without an external power supply via two monitor outputs.
To meet the safety requirements of both trade and original equipment customers, both the CarCine TFT 720 and the CarCine DVD 210 fulfil all key European safety standards. They carry the CE symbol, e-mark and are designed according to ECER21 regulations, meaning they also satisfy the demanding requirements of crash tests.
The Delphi Grundig TFT 720 is available at a selling price of approximately € 299.00. The Delphi Grundig DVD is available at a selling price of approximately € 399.00.
