CHAMCO AUTO Announces Peter Leu as Vice President - Powertrain

PARSIPPANY, N.J., Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- CHAMCO AUTO has announced Peter Leu as Vice President - Powertrain. CHAMCO AUTO is partnered with Hebei Zhongxing Automobile Company, Ltd. (ZXAUTO China) and expects to become the first company to import Chinese-made vehicles into North America. Bill Pollack, CHAMCO AUTO's Chairman, made the announcement.

Leu brings over 30 years of engineering experience to the organization. With leadership positions in companies such as Daimler-Benz, Festo AG, Kuhnke GmbH, Behr Thermot-Tronik, and INZI Controls, and experience in CAD, Engine Calculation Software, and thermal management, Leu is bringing invaluable technical knowledge to CHAMCO AUTO. Leu has specialized in engine design, cooling systems, and electronics systems management, and was a lead developer of a MAP-controlled thermostat that significantly reduces fuel consumption and engine emissions. This MAP-controlled thermostat is now being used in more than four million cars produced by Ford, Mazda, BMW, and Volkswagen. Leu holds many patents in fuel consumption reduction and emissions control systems for both gasoline and diesel engines, as well as multiple patents for valves and cylinders. Leu is skilled in pneumatics and hydraulics. He is also a graduate of Cologne University.
