AIAG Presented with Prestigious MSAE Diamond Award for Magazine Publishing

DETROIT, Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) has been honored with the Michigan Society of Association Executives' (MSAE) 2006 Diamond Award in recognition of innovation and excellence for its magazine Actionline.

Actionline took the top honor in the category of Magazine Publishing based on achievement of objectives, comprehensiveness and clarity of content, effectiveness of writing, variety, format and graphic design.

"It is a tremendous honor for Actionline to be recognized by MSAE as the best association magazine in Michigan," said J. Scot Sharland, AIAG's executive director. "It's a distinction that reflects our goal of providing our members with the most comprehensive information on automotive challenges and how AIAG is working with its industry partners and member companies to create and implement viable solutions."

"Receiving the Diamond Award for Magazine Publishing proves that our efforts during the past year to more actively involve the AIAG membership in the editorial product were successful," said Carla Kalogeridis, Actionline's editor in chief. "First and foremost, an association magazine must engage and serve the needs of its members. Actionline's editorial staff and the AIAG leadership should be commended for their dedication and execution of this worthy goal, and we look forward to introducing even more improvements to the magazine in 2007."
