October 31, 2007, LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week (AAIW)/Overseas Automotive Council’s (OAC) International Reception – held here Oct. 31– was the networking event of the week for global business contacts with nearly 900 aftermarket professionals in attendance.

“Attendees at AAIW find this reception offers invaluable networking opportunities,” said Anthony Cardez, OAC executive director. “Each year, the AAIW/OAC Reception facilitates interaction between domestic and international business people who are interested in the export market,” he said.

More than 800 people from 50 countries attended the event in 2006, Cardez noted. “Attendance has increased each year for the past three years,” he said. “This steady growth reflects the continued globalization of the marketplace and the increased understanding of executives who have realized the networking potential this event offers,” he said.
